AZ GOP Big 3 Censured, Tweet Their Response
Arizona's diversion from its staunchly Republican roots has a fallout.
The AZ GOP, on Saturday censured three big name Republicans, Cindy McCain, Senator John McCain's widow, former Senator Jeff Flake and Governor Doug Ducey over claims of several failures.
Loyalty, meanwhile, has been rewarded. Chairwoman Kelly Ward, who backed former president Donald Trump all the way over his election fraud claims, even attempting a suit that failed, got re-elected.
Physician Ward, who won over her challenger by three points in two rounds of voting to get re-elected, spoke to the Arizona Republicans at the Dream City Church in Phoenix.
According to CNN, Ward endorsed Trump's "Make America Great Again" rallying cry, then played out an audio message from Trump that said "I give her my complete and total endorsement."
ABC7 News quoted Sara Mueller, Ducey's political director saying: "These resolutions are of no consequence whatsoever and the people behind them have lost whatever little moral authority they may have once had."
Denver Post, in its report, said that the GOP party officials and activists nationwide are facing a question of Republican identity after Trump supporters stormed the Capitol on January 6, followed by the loss to Biden.
It is a high honor to be included in a group of Arizonans who have served our state and our nation so well...and who, like my late husband John, have been censured by the AZGOP. I’ll wear this as a badge of honor.

If condoning President Trump’s behavior is required to stay in the AZGOP’s good graces, I’m just fine being on the outs. https://t.co/2rzCTu1AcZ
2014 American Calf Poirier Turns A Bull
American Dustin Poirier metamorphosed from a calf of 2014 into a bull on Sunday morning.
The Diamond used calf kicks as the perfect counter to draw 1-1 with Conor "Notorious" McGregor after a technical knockout in 2 minutes, 32 seconds.
Coach @mikebrownmma had a perfectly simple answer for why he thought calf kicks would be a key for @DustinPoirier against Conor McGregor at #UFC257 😅

Yahoo Sports reported that the win puts Poirier up for a lightweight title fight either against reigning champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, who'll have to come out of retirement or another top contender.
