Alastair Clarkson Confirmed As Coach Of North Melbourne
Former Hawks coach Alistair Clarkson will now take up the reign at his former club North Melbourne where he played 93 games of his AFL career.
Clarkson's announcement as coach by Kangaroos president Sonja Hood has put speculation about the four-time premiership coach to rest.
He was also chased by Essendon and GWS.
Clarkson's contract with the Roos will run up to 2027. He'll succeed David Noble as the North's fourth coach in five years.
The 54-year-old's deal is approximately worth $1.1 million a season.
Casemiro All Set To Join Manchester United
Manchester United who are on a signing spree before the transfer window closes, are set to snap Brazilian midfielder Casemiro from Real Madrid.
The deal for the 30-year-old five-time Champions League winner is worth US$72 million (£60 million) with an option to extend the four-year contract with add-ons.
Casemiro was set to go through his medical on Friday. However, it's unlikely he'll play Monday's Premier League match against arch-rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils are languishing at the bottom of the table, after starting their season quest with losses to Brighton and Brentford.
Casemiro, who is eager to leave Madrid, will join his Real teammates Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Hammers, coming from back-to-back defeats in the Premier League to Manchester City and Nottingham Forest, will head to Denmark with a two-goal cushion.
John Laka Skamaka and Jarred Bowen had put West Ham in a comfortable lead before Jacob Bondi Jensen reduced the margin for the Danish team.
Substitutes Mikhail Antonio and Said Benrahma then combined brilliantly to make it 3-1 for the Hammers in the 78th minute.
